We built PatchLab to provide a solution to the slow, opaque nature of outsourced R&D for drug delivery systems. We believe that early-stage discovery/formulation—whether for a transdermal patch, a lozenge, sublingual film etc — should be fast, transparent, and data-driven.

our company
The cofounders originally met as roommates in Humboldt County over a decade ago. As different projects came and went they met back up in San Diego working together at various startups creating drug delivery formulations.
Today, they serve a range of clients looking to rapidly iterate through formulations to perfect IP before validating with large scale CROs. The prototyping and release modeling turns drugs into viable therapeutics.
